HHRC Director Sherry-Lea Bloodworth

In September of 2007, Sherry-Lea Bloodworth
was hired as the director of HHRC. Sherry-Lea Bloodworth was
instrumental in raising millions of dollars for East Biloxi
redevelopment. Her duties in Harrison County included
coordination of efforts between housing partners and local
government entities. As Director of the Hancock Housing
Resource Center, Bloodworth is providing leadership to
establish the necessary components of the center and
oversee the day-to-day
operations.
Sherry-Lea Bloodworth has extensive
non-profit management experience. Most recently, she served
as Gulf Coast Development Director for Architecture for
Humanity, in tandem with her position as Development
Director for East Biloxi Coordination, Relief and
Redevelopment Agency. She also worked to raise awareness
and funds for long-term housing recovery on both local and
national levels.
